Description/Nature of Services: The nature of the services Provider will offer includes: health coaching and nutrition services. Such services include guiding, assisting, educating, and supporting clients to make thoughtful, manageable mind-body/spirit-lifestyle adjustments to improve overall well-being and vitality. Provider primarily guides, assists, educates, and supports clients to assume more personal responsibility for their health by adopting a healthier attitude, lifestyle, and nutrition practices.
As a health coach, Provider will be providing nutritional suggestions concerning proper nutrition, which includes the exchange of information as to the use and role of food and food ingredients, including dietary supplements and herbals. Provider is not a registered or licensed dietician or nutritionist. You understand that all nutritional recommendations are not intended as diagnosis, treatment, or prescription and is based solely on Provider’s personal research and training.
Carla is completed her master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition (MSCN) at the Sonoran University of Health Sciences, Formerly the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) Class of June of 2022 as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) Candidate with over 370 hours of applied Supervised Practice Experience (SPE), as recognized by the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS) and the American Nutrition Association (ANA). Carla is also certified in the Principles of Nutritional Genomics by the American Nutrition Association (ANA). Carla is currently completing training for certification as a Nutrition Recovery Coach for Addiction Recovery and Sustained Mental Health from the Academy for Addiction & Mental Health Nutrition so that she is able to recommend nutritional and supplemental interventions for certain symptoms and behavioral issues as well as gut/digestive issues which are known to exacerbate a variety of mental health symptoms.
